This tour first kicks off with a flight to Wellington then a leisurely drive to the Victorian town of Greytown and a delicious visit to Martinborough. Then later that afternoon, we check into our centrally located Wellington hotel.

You then spend a day enjoying the city before preparing for the spectacle of lights and creative display with Platinum Passes to the World of WearableArt (WOW) show!

On our final day, we first visit Wellington Gardens to enjoy the vibrant Tulips on display, followed with a tour of Government House - home to the Governor-General of New Zealand.

Itinerary | 19 - 21 September 2025

DAY 1. Greytown | Martinborough
Friday 19 September. On arrival in Wellington, we are met by our driver and we soon depart for Greytown and Martinborough. Greytown has beautifully restored Victorian wooden buildings that house stylish and interesting specialty stores, boutiques and cafes. Take your time to wander around this quaint town.

A trip to the Wairarapa wouldn’t be complete without a vineyard lunch and wine tasting…
so we’ve chosen a Martinborough Vineyard for a beautiful platter lunch. Sit back, relax and enjoy the stunning food and ambiance.

After a fulfilling day in the Wairarapa we head back to Wellington and check-in to our centrally located hotel at the James Cook Grand Chancellor. Tonight we enjoy dinner in-house.

DAY 5. Leisure Day | World of Wearable Arts Show
Saturday 20 September. Today is yours to enjoy. Visit Te Papa, take a wander around the waterfront, do a spot of shopping, admire the galleries or take in the culture of the streets. You may like to visit Fragifert, the fabulous perfumery at the top of the Cable Car where you can create your own fragrance with the master himself! Your Tour Manager will be on standby to help co-ordinate what you want out of this day.

Conserve your energy however, we enjoy an early dinner in-house before departing for
TSB Arena for the World of Wearable Arts show.

Prepare to be dazzled by the cutting-edge talent from across the globe, from the garment designers to the show’s dancers, aerialists, musicians and performers and the creative team which spends around 18 months bringing each bespoke WOW Awards Season together. As Platinum Pass holders to the show we get excellent viewing seats plus a 2024 Souvenir Programme!

DAY 6. Wellington Gardens | Government House
Sunday 21 September. After a late night watching the show, we enjoy a restful morning before checking out. We then take the cable car up to Wellington Gardens and meander down the pathways to view the vibrant Tulips on display. We then visit Government House - home to the Governor-General of New Zealand for a tour of the impressive homestead.

Later, we make our way to Wellington Airport where we say our final farewells and make our way home. We hope you’ve enjoyed your time away with Seemore Tours where you see more, do more, and have more fun!
